2005 Baxendale Koa Harwood

This guitar was made while Mike Booth, a writer for the Denver Post, observed the entire construction process for his article in the Denver Post.

It is a small body guitar with 12 clear of the body. The sides and back are made from select, figured, Koa wood. It has a Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge. The neck is a slim profile with a fairly wide fingerboard which is 1.800" wide at the nut. The sides on this instrument are fairly deep in comparison with most small 12 fret style guitars.

The sound of this instrument is very bright, but full sounding across it's entire range, and is ideal for fingerpicking folk, jazz or classical.
